I grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and my path has been one of curiosity, growth, and connection. After graduating from LSU, I imagined myself starting my career in a bustling new city, but life had other plans, leading me to Shreveport—a place that unexpectedly captured my heart and became my true home. As a resident of the Highland neighborhood, I embraced community involvement, serving on the Highland Neighborhood Association board for five years and organizing initiatives like a monthly trash pickup project that was, as I like to say, ‘funner than it sounds.’

I’m passionate about improving the world around me, constantly asking how things can be better, more efficient, or more impactful. I approach both my work and my daily life with curiosity and a commitment to learning and evolving. My creative process is deeply influenced by my love for problem-solving, my dedication to lifelong learning, and my interest in culture in all its forms, especially art, music, food, books, and films. Whether I’m working in the garden, cooking a new dish, or diving into my next design project, I strive to bring fresh perspectives and purpose into everything I create.
